Textured Tuesday

This label-less, vintage lace frilled and pleated dress is one of my favorites, but one I don’t wear often. It has the most incredible attention to detail in the stitching, composition and structure. The buttons, pleats, nape keyhole and shape are elegantly orchestrated, and demonstrate the deft skill of the designer and seamstress.

This is the kind of dress you find and know it was meant to be. You could say it was love and first pleat.
