The Serpent: Everyday Beauty

I couldn’t help but take a walk and snap a few pictures in Fannie Mae Dees park today. It was the first day in weeks that Nashville wasn’t covered in a blanket of grey.

This is one of my favorite park finds in Nashville, one I discovered my very first week of living here almost four years ago. Pedro Silva, a renowned artist, is known for his public works – particularly his mosaics. “The Serpent” is no exception. A piece of art and something to conquer, the mosaic dragon is certainly a piece of everyday beauty in Music City.
